Daily Bread

Galatians 3:2 - "I only want to learn this from you; did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by the hearing of faith?"

If we are going to function in the realms of faith, which is the supernatural activity of the Spirit of God, then we must learn to hear faith. This, in fact, is something that every person who has been born of God has experienced because it was the hearing of faith that caused you to respond to God and experience the new birth. It was as simple as hearing the word of God being preached and then acting on that word of God that resulted in the miracle. If we are going to work miracles by the Spirit then it will be in the same way that we were born of the Spirit (Galatians 3:5). God speaks to us by His word and inspires us by His Spirit and then we do what He says for us to do. We speak out the miracle of God by confessing the Lord Jesus Christ with our mouth. We speak with our mouths and believe in our hearts and then the miracle takes place. From the miracle of salvation to the miracle of signs and wonders - it is all the results of hearing faith.

The way that we participate with God and receive the miracle is summed up in Romans 10:9-10; “That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
